Obituary

Dennis Lee Erb 69, of Rockford, IL passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021.

Dennis was born in Rockford, IL on December 25, 1951.  Son of Guy and Marie (Krischke) Erb.  He graduated from Auburn High School class of 1970.  Dennis married Kathy Steinbach on April 1, 1972.  Dennis worked at Dean Foods for 42 years before retiring in 2014.  He was a member of Berean Baptist Church of Rockford for 46 years and Berean Baptist Church of Beloit for 14 years.

He loved family vacations (especially the beach).  He loved spending time attending games of his children and grandchildren, (missing very few).  He loved mowing grass and watching the Cubs.  He enjoyed being big papa to his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy.  Children: Rebecca (Jeff) McGough,     Jason (Nicole) Erb, Amy (John) Mixon.  Grandchildren: Tyler, Jacob, Michael, Tanner, Tayler, Kaylin, Brittany and Haley.  Great grandchildren:  Isabella, Aria and Finn.  Brothers:  Butch (Carol) Erb, Steve (Corinne) Erb, Bryan (Tina) Erb.  Sister-in-law, Janie Sue Erb; numerous nieces and nephews.  Dennis is predeceased by his parents, sister, Valerie Jo Erb, and brother, Dan Erb.

Memorial service Saturday, November 20, 2021  at Berean Baptist Church of Beloit, 1992 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI 53511.  Officiated by Pastor Kelvin Swanson.  Visitation at 10: 00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to family.
