Hayat R. Adamany

Hayat R. Adamany, 83, of Rockford, Illinois reunited with her husband, Fouad, on November 11, 2021. Hayat was born in Zahle, Lebanon, the eldest daughter of Rasheed and Rose Hreiz. She immigrated to the United States in 1957, first to Charleston, West Virginia, later moving to Rockford, Illinois after meeting the love of her life. They married in Spring Valley, IL on May 7, 1959.
Hayat promptly made Rockford her home. She gave her heart to everyone she met and spent her life giving back to the community she loved. The groups/organizations that were dear to her heart include Sts. Constantine and Helen Ladies Philoptocos Society, Children’s Home and Aid Society, Corpus Christi Monastery of the Poor Clares, Catholic Women’s League, Marie T. Perry Department/Rockford Women’s Club, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Smile Train.
Hayat is survived by her four children, Mona (Scott) Lindvall, Michael (Jaime) Adamany, Tania (Peter) Wisbey, Andrea (Bill) Mann; eight grandchildren, Michael Lindvall, Miranda (Ben) Briggs, Marina and Eric Adamany, Nathan and Sean Wisbey, Nicholas and Noah Osen; and five step-grandchildren, Mamina, Tikina, Kanha, Mac and Maggie Mann; her brothers, Lee (Pam) Harris and Nick (Alice) Hreiz; sisters, Najat Rask and Nellie (Leon) Jones; her brothers-in-law, John (Betty) Adamany, Alan Adamany, Anthony Adamany, sister-in-law, Jackie Adamany; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Hayat is predeceased by her husband, Fouad; her parents Rasheed and Rose Hreiz; brother Mike Harris; brother-in-law Thomas Rask; father-in-law and mother-in-law Michel and Olga Adamany; and sister-in-law Nancy Adamany.
